Stefan Redtenbacher (Redtenbacher's Funkestra) and James Welch (Masterlink Productions) talk to podcaster, DJ and lover of the funk Michael Bendure.
Michael is an award-winning writer, photographer, and singer/songwriter who performs regularly throughout the Norman, Oklahoma, area in bands Heartbreak Rodeo and The Whiskey Gingers. He is also an avid abstract painter who specializes in acrylics. In September, 2021, Michael transitioned to full-time creativity in order to focus on his radio show, podcast, and art.
Stef and James talk to Michael about his love of creativity, quitting a full time job in PR to pursue his love of music and bringing funk to a wider audience and the pitfalls that come with that.
